Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous for portraying naive characters that are engaging and relatable. Adams grew as the seventh 7-year-old living in Castle Rock Colorado. In the late 1990s, she started professional dance and acting in Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to Minnesota and was made a part of Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentarian film about beauty contests. When she made her screen debut as a charming but snarky contestant, she relocated towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She was married to Tony Curtis was her partner from June 1950 until September 1992. Her children included, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began in late 1940s after she was hired by MGM. Her name was found by Norma Shearer. She appeared in a range of films that became popular over the decade that followed, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) and Living It Up (1954) with Martin Lewis.
